Michael Gabriel Cortez is a native Houstonian and 5th Generation Texan. He received his Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies from University of Houston-Clear Lake. He obtained his juris doctorate from the University of Arkansas School of Law, Fayetteville, in May 2022. During law school, Michael interned under the Chief Magistrate Judge Mark E. Ford of the United States District Court-Western District of Arkansas. He represented the University of Arkansas in the American Bar Association’s National Negotiation Competition. Michael focuses his practice primarily on litigation including product liability, personal injury, and construction defects.
