Morgan was born and raised in Cypress, Texas, alongside her twin brother, Connor. Growing up in a blue-collar family—her father in commercial roofing and her brother in construction—she developed a strong appreciation for the trades and an interest in Construction Law.
As a first-generation lawyer and the first woman in her family to graduate from college, Morgan is deeply motivated by her background. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in History from Texas A&M University. She then attended South Texas College of Law, where she received her Juris Doctorate, graduating as #14 in her class. Her legal education and experience clerking for the 14th Court of Appeals ignited a passion for trial & appellate advocacy and tort liability, driving her to excel in litigation.
During law school, Morgan thrived in competitive environments, winning accolades in moot court and mock trial competitions. She received the Best Brief award at the Dominick L. Gabrielli National Moot Court Competition and reached the semi-finals at the American Bar Association’s Moot Court Tournament. Additionally, she earned a certificate in Texas Civil Trial Advocacy from South Texas. She earned the CALI Award for Excellence in Evidence and in First Amendment, along with the John F. Ensle Scholarship for her achievements in the Rules of Evidence.
Her journey into civil defense began during her 2L summer clerkship at Fee, Smith & Sharp, LLP, where she discovered her passion for advocating for clients in the dynamic fields of construction and personal injury. Dedicated to defending her corporate clients, Morgan approaches her work with a defense-minded perspective. Her background in customer service, developed in college while working in student housing, enhances her ability to understand client needs and provide exceptional representation.
As an associate at Fee, Smith & Sharp, LLP, Morgan leverages her experience and expertise to vigorously advocate for her clients in the courtroom, driven by a belief in the power of diligent representation.
