About Michael
EXPERIENCE
Mr. Noordsy was born in Kansas City, Missouri and made it to the Great State of Texas in 1980. While growing up in Plano, Texas, he continued his passion for playing baseball, worked at his family’s business since 8th grade, and graduated from Plano East High School.
He was fortunate to attend the University of Texas at Austin and has been an avid Longhorn fan since the moment he stepped on campus.
He attended law school in San Diego, California, and couldn’t wait to get back to Texas. During the first semester of his 3L year, he did an externship for the Honorable John McClellan Marshall (great-great-grandson of John Marshall – Chief Justice of the United States) while he was the Presiding Judge of the 14th Judicial District Court of Dallas County, Texas. California Western School of Law blessed his plan to do all his 3L year studies at SMU Dedman School of Law. Judge Marshall continues to be a great mentor and friend.
During his first 12 years of practice, he was a Plaintiff’s attorney and did criminal defense. For the past 20+ years, he has thoroughly enjoyed being a defense attorney for countless businesses and insurance companies.
Despite all his success as an attorney, he knows that his greatest accomplishment is being the father of his two amazing children.
He strongly believes in this Ronald Reagan quote: “Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly, leave the rest to God.”
