About Kevin
EXPERIENCE
Kevin Shawn Niknam is a proud native Texan whose passion for the practice of law first began while attending the University of Texas at Austin after being introduced to several legal-academic organizations. Upon earning his B.A. in Government, Kevin continued expanding his knowledge of law while working for the Texas Senate.
Kevin is highly skilled in all aspects of civil litigation. He has an extensive and diverse practice with a focus on personal injury, products liability, premises liability, construction liability and defect, transportation liability, dram shop actions and wrongful death. He has successfully represented clients in both state and federal courts.
Kevin spent several years as a plaintiff’s attorney before realizing that his true passion lies in defense work. He believes there is no greater professional reward than being of service to his clients who face difficult legal challenges. Having represented clients on both sides of litigation has given him a unique skillset allowing him to continuously devise creative solutions for his clients.
When not practicing law, Kevin enjoys spending time with his family, traveling with his wife, competing in USPSA matches and volunteering in substance abuse counseling.
