John M. Ledyard is a passionate civil litigator with a committed dedication to representing his clients successfully from the pre-trial phase of litigation to the courtroom. Mr. Ledyard has 22 years of experience in representing clients in catastrophic personal injury, tractor trailer accidents, and construction or premises cases. Mr. Ledyard’s accomplishments include numerous favorable defense verdicts, and summary judgment, as well as positive feedback from jurors and clients.
Mr. Ledyard also has extensive experience handling title claims for a national title insurance company, and has litigated and defended matters such as bad faith lending, easement disputes, equitable subrogation, eviction and foreclosure. He has worked statewide, with a heavy emphasis in Central and South Texas.
Mr. Ledyard was born in Dallas, and graduated from Baylor University in 1986 with a B.B.A. in Management/Finance. Mr. Ledyard earned his law degree from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in 1994 and was admitted to practice in the State of Texas the same year. He worked as a litigation attorney for 21 years prior to joining Fee, Smith & Sharp in 2016.
Mr. Ledyard maintains professional affiliations with the State Bar of Texas, Dallas Bar Association, Austin Bar Association, and the Texas Association of Defense Counsel.
