Danice graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Texas at Arlington with a B.A. in Criminology and Criminal Justice. After working for over 10 years as an insurance adjuster handling both commercial general liability cases and commercial auto cases, Danice earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of North Texas at Dallas College of Law.
During this time, Danice became a Court Appointed Special Advocate for Abused and Neglected Children, served on the Teen Court Advisory Board for the City of Arlington, and served as a student attorney at the Legal Aid of Northwest Texas Community Lawyering Center. Danice’s career has been shaped by her passion for advocacy and her desire to make a difference. Throughout her undergraduate career, Danice joined organizations helping underprivileged communities, at-risk youth, and first-generation high school students.
Danice was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She is the proud daughter of a Honduran mother and a Mexican American Father.
Outside of her legal practice, Danice enjoys spending time with her husband of 10 years and their three children.
