Prior to joining the firm's Governmental group, Mr. Shelby's practice concentrated primarily on products and premises liability litigation. Mr. Shelby has represented companies from the chemical, refining, and manufacturing industries in personal injury and wrongful death cases, many seeking multi-million dollar damage awards. In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Shelby has consulted other clients on criminal, family, and real estate matters and on the formation of business associations such as limited liability partnerships and corporations.
Mr. Shelby believes in pursuing the interests of his clients aggressively and resourcefully. He brings to the Governmental group extensive experience in fact investigation, developing effective witness testimony, and formulating innovative legal strategies that garner the best results possible for his clients.
Away from the office, Mr. Shelby enjoys spending time with his wife Jennifer, an educator with Plano Independent School District.
