Steven's practice incorporates a broad range of matters including commercial litigation, premises liability, and products liability. Prior to attending law school, he was a commercial banking financial analyst wherein he evaluated the financial viability of numerous corporations. His financial analysis background qualifies him to handle complex commercial disputes.

He graduated cum laude from SMU Dedman School of Law in 2009. While in law school, he was accomplished in advanced legal writing and received the Jurisprudence Award in Legal Writing and Practice. He also excelled in mock trial, moot court, and client counseling competitions. Steven was a member of the Phi Delta Phi International Legal Fraternity and a Student Bar Association Mentor. He mentored elementary school students through the Dallas Independent School District Ð Law Related Education Program. He also received scholarships from the Energy and Mineral Law Foundation and the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation.

Steven graduated from Texas Tech University with a B.B.A. in Management in 2004. He was also a two term President of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity and was involved in several service organizations.
