Rebecca Bell represents companies and individuals in high-exposure and high-profile disputes in federal and state courts all over Texas. In recent years, Ms. Bell has been appellate and trial litigation counsel for clients in a broad range of catastrophic tort cases involving trucking, construction, insurance bad faith, deceptive trade practices, and premises liability matters. Ms. Bell’s talent in both complex trial and appellate matters makes her a valuable resource to the firm and her clients.

While in law school, Ms. Bell excelled in advocacy competitions; her successes included American Bar Association Moot Court Regional Championships, Best Oralist recognition, Texas Young Lawyer Association Moot Court awards, National Moot Court, and Client Counseling success in competitions held by the American Bar Association. Outside of the courtroom, Ms. Bell continues to dedicate her advocacy experience to the educational environment, coaching four SMU moot court teams to their winning of National Championships in the last six years.

Ms. Bell operates in both leading and supporting roles in the firm – she dedicates herself to “filling the gap” when needed, and her experience provides a foundation for handling the exigent circumstances that often accompany high exposure cases.
