Jon Azano comes to the firm with over ten years of experience in representing clients across Texas in matters ranging from insurance fraud litigation to major construction defect litigation to corporate formation. Approximately ninety percent of Mr. Azano's practice is dedicated to litigation, with an emphasis on representing plaintiffs in complex business litigation disputes and construction defect litigation. He has successfully defended these individuals and entities, often in "bet the company" litigation and has first chair trial experience in Dallas, Harris and Montgomery counties. He practices in state and federal trial courts, appellate courts, arbitration and mediation.
In addition to Mr. Azano's litigation practice, he regularly counsels clients with respect to interpretation, drafting and negotiation of contracts, particularly in the construction field. His experience with transactional matters is an asset when litigation necessitates the interpretation and understanding of contractual provisions.
As a former small business owner, Mr. Azano understands the needs of Fee, Smith, Sharp & Vitullo's clients. With this experience, Mr. Azano has assisted the firm's small business clients with matters involving corporate formation and related issues to protect both corporate and individual assets.
